Sat in the garden enjoying a pint of brew, few friends round for a BBQ. Doesn't get much better than this! Cool

Anyone else enjoying the fruits of earlier brewing sessions?

...A tad late....but we had 30 people round for a 'Q on Saturday....homemade burgers, homemade brats, homemade bread rolls/buns and slowwww hickory smoked baby back ribs...mmm...mmm...mmm

This was also the unleashing on the innocent victims, I mean friends of mine of the Coopers Euro that has been sitting patiently in the garage for almost 4 months and a couple of bottles of Brewers Choice Weissbier that were at about the 3 month mark.

The Coopers Euro is nice although I was expecting more from all the rave reviews on it...maybe MY expectation was too high but I'll definitely do it again....I find it more like an inbetween of canned Fosters or maybe a 4X and Becks etc. It's got the best of both worlds - the sweetness of the Aussie lagers and the flintiness (sp?) of a Northern German beer...I would like more of the flintiness but I guess this is down to water...might try and play around with the water next time...just need to find out the water profile for Bremen!

The Weissbier is just bl**dy lovely, rich, phenolic, good mouth feel...not quite upto a Franziskaner - but if I could brew like that then I would be a professional brewer!
