Help.

I set away the Brupak black moor stout last weekend and it should be ready in the next few days. However, I seem to have lost my instructions.

Can anyone tell me what the FG should be and also if i need to out sugar into the bottles?

Thanks, phil

Sorry - never done this one but I would think the FG should be around the 1.014 mark.

Sugar for secondary fermentation is likely to be the same as usual and at a rate of 1tsp per ltr.

I've just done Brupak's Colne Valley Bitter and I think the instructions that were included are for all their products - they are 'basic instructions' with no differentiation between brews (this comes on the box - ingredients, strength etc).
The instructions say the reading should be 1.010 or less; if the reading is significantly higher, stir GENTLY to re-distribute the yeast and leave for a further two days. If the reading is 1.015 or less and stable at that, you can assume that fermentation is over. Mine got to 1.014 and I've bottled it.
This kit also says to leave in the warm for 2 weeks (which is longer than some kits) and then in the cool for about 2 weeks.
