It took more than a week to arrive which was quicker than the 2 weeks that the original kit took. The sugar itself is very good and mixes quickly.

I have only ever used normal granulated sugar in previous brews, with using this sugar I noticed the difference straight away. The wort was bubbling like an icelandic volcano within a few hours. I am yet to use this to prime the bottles, but I am sure will add a great fizz to my cider! Happy days!

caster suger is just dandy for preping your bottles or adding zing to your cider . im not moaning about the price but it takes me 12 mins to get to morrisons .

OK, normal sugar has a molecule that is not disolved in the wort and can leave an after taste. This sugar is refined and does not contain that molecule. No after taste and the sugar disolves easier. It costs a bit more but would not brew without it again.

It doesnt leave a nasty taste like normail household sugars do in my opinion.
